The Mohrs will be rocking the stage at Indie Week on the Nov 10. Make sure not to miss that! The Mohrs - Perfectly Sane Official Video. 23 October 2017 ·. Hey ya'll!

Anyone in the mechanical sciences is likely familiar with Mohr‘s circle - a useful graphical technique for finding principal stresses and strains in materials. Mohr’s circle also tells you the principal angles (orientations) of the principal stresses without your having to plug an angle into stress transformation equations. Starting with a stress or strain element in the XY plane, construct a grid with a normal stress on the horizontal axis and a shear stress on the vertical. Positive shear stress plots at the bottom.

The Mohrs publicity still. The album opens with Better, which is also the newest single. It’s a rocking up-tempo number that is probably the album’s best song. Won’t be Going Home is a snarky affirmation of independence and strength that could have been a single too. Kings of Nowhere is another highlight that sounds ready-made to be played live and get the crowd pumped. The album never rocks again as much as it does on Better, but the songs are well written and super catchy. Mohr’s voice is very strong and she projects a lot of personality and attitude.

The Mohrs' debut album, Kings of Nowhere, begins with this uptempo fist-pumper. It was one of the last songs written for the record. Frontwoman and guitarist of The Mohrs, Jackie Mohr, revealed in her Songfacts interview how the song unexpectedly played a larger role than anticipated. It's turned out to be a bigger track on this record than we ever thought it would be, to be quite honest," she said. It almost didn't even make the record when we were all done. It wasn't supposed to be on there
