Yesterdays is the eleventh studio album by the punk rock band Pennywise, which was released on July 15, 2014. It contains previously unrecorded compositions (with the exception of "No Way Out" and "Slowdown", which appeared on 1989's A Word from the Wise and 1993's Unknown Road respectively) by their late bassist Jason Thirsk. Yesterdays is also Pennywise's first album with singer Jim Lindberg since his departure in 2009. Violence Never Ending" was released to radio on June 23, 2014.

Complete your Pennywise collection. I question if there's even such a release as a GREEN press from Europe. I believe that the Green press is from the US.

Yesterdays is dominated by several previously unrecorded songs Thirsk wrote for Pennywise, and the results are archetypical SoCal punk - tight, powerful, and relentless, with an unending supply of power chords, rubbery basslines, and sharp drumming as the group rolls out 11 anthems of both anger and hope. Yesterdays is a heartfelt memorial to a fallen comrade as well as a reminder that Pennywise remember their roots well, and haven't lost sight of the ideas and ideals that drove them.

With some nostalgic song writing and an old-school feel, this new album is yet another solid dose of good ol’ fashion punk rock from the veterans. The riffs, the grooves, the bass lines, Jim Lindberg’s unmistakable vocals, it’s all quintessentially Pennywise. Songs like ‘Public Defender’ and ‘What You Deserve‘ are exactly what you expect from the band – fast, noisy punk rock songs with plenty of catchy attitude.
