Profile: German duo of synthesist Dirk Jan Müller (later of Electric Orange) and Frank Burkhardt, playing creative cosmic music in the early-1970's tradition.

Octopus is a vagina and the garden is the bushy pubes around it. He's talking about playing around in dark caves and bringing his friends. It might even be able sex with hookers who sleep with everyone. Izzy from Buffalo, Nymy kindergarten teacher used to make us dance to this song. after a little while(like, three days of dancing to it for a half hour every day) we all got sick of it(except the teacher), and i've just recently started liking it again. Cameron from Bainsville, CanadaThis really shows everyone that Ringo CAN sing.

A composite version of Octopus's Garden, opening with Ringo's vocals superimposed onto the orchestral backing from Good Night, was included on 2006's Love album. Although The Beatles temporarily considered Octopus's Garden as Ringo's vocal spot on what would become the Let It Be album, it wasn't recorded properly until the Abbey Road sessions. On 26 April they recorded 32 takes of the rhythm track, with Starr on drums and guide vocals, McCartney on bass, and Harrison and Lennon on guitars. It sounds like Paul’s imitating John again on the higher harmony. Not sure if he sings during the bubbly solo and afterwards though.

It’s only the second song Ringo has ever written, mind you, and it’s lovely. He added that the song gets very deep into your consciousnes. ecause it’s so peaceful.

Produced by George Martin. Octopus's Garden Lyrics. I’d like to be under the sea In an octopus’s garden in the shade. We would shout and swim about The coral that lies beneath the waves Oh what joy for every girl and boy Knowing they’re happy and they’re safe We would be so happy, you and me No-one there to tell us what to do.

Octopus's Garden is a song from Abbey Road, The Beatles' second-to-last album. It is known for being the second song Ringo Starr wrote for the Beatles. The song was inspired by a boating trip he took in 1968 with his family, during which he learned the fact that octopodes are fond of collecting stones and shiny objects underwater, which they build "gardens" with. Ringo, who thought that an octopus's garden was one of the happiest things he'd heard, was inspired to write the song.

But what is an octopus’s garden? Why is it so important to this honorary vertebrate? And why was Ringo so drawn to life beneath the waves? . Ringo fell in love with the sea after just a simple boat trip in Sardinia, and the song octopus’s garden was released on the Beatles 1969 album Abbey Road. He was captivated by a story told from the boat’s captain about how octopus travel along to sea bed collecting stones and shiny objects. He hadn’t even been diving and he was in love, and this awesome song was born. I suppose Ringo is writing cosmic songs these days without even realising it. Title: Octopus’s Garden.
