  • This album in my opinion is one of Freddie King's best if not his best album. If I had to label the music I'd call it modern blues or really more accurately a blues funk rock fusion. There's the Gonzalez Horn section performing on several tracks providing extra mojo to killer tunes like the lead off track "Pack It Up". Another great tune "My Credit Didn't Go Thru". The production on this album is crisp and tight especially in the bass and drums department. Freddie's huge sounding volcanic voice is in top form along side his searing guitar ab libs and solos. Another standout track is Freddie's cover of Earl King's "Let The Good Times Roll". If you're a fan of the blues and aren't familiar with this masterpiece go now and get it you won't regret it. If you only own one Freddie King album this should be it.

  • This is an absolute classic of an album stock full of great songs and fantastic performances. One of my favourite albums of all time it shows Freddie absolutely on top of his game. It is a truly outstanding blues album unlike any other that I'd heard at that time (or since). I really can't recommend this album highly enough - if you love Blues you just can't fail to like this.
