The Everly Brothers is the 1958 eponymous debut album of close harmony rock and roll duo The Everly Brothers. The album peaked at No. 16 on Billboard's "pop albums" chart and launched three very successful singles. Originally on the Cadence label, (CLP-3003), the album was re-released on LP in 1988 by EMI and on CD in 2000 by Emporio Records. It was re-released again in 2009 on 180-gram vinyl by Doxy music.

Many of the Everly Brothers' 1960s albums included little or no original material, and Roots unfortunately had only one such item, Don and Phil's "I Wonder If I Care So Much. Furthermore, that wasn't a new tune, having been first recorded by the pair back in 1957 for the B-side of their first hit, "Bye Bye Love. The Roots has a far different arrangement, however, and was singled for praise in The Rolling Stone Illustrated History of Rock & Roll, where Kit Rachlis wrote: "The original version is too jaunty. It would be the Everlys' last studio album for the label, their stay with the company concluded by the live 1970 double LP The Everly Brothers Show, also reissued on CD by Collectors' Choice Music. - Richie Unterberger.

Roots is a 1968 studio album by close harmony rock and roll duo The Everly Brothers. Originally on the Warner Bros. label, the album was re-released on CD in 1995 by Warner Bros. and in 2005 by Collectors' Choice Music.
