Second Sighting is a studio album by American hard rock band Frehley's Comet. This is the second and last full-length album released under the band name Frehley's Comet and the third solo release from Ace overall. Second Sighting was recorded with new drummer Jamie Oldaker, who had previously worked with Bob Seger and Eric Clapton. He replaced Billy Ward who was in the videos and part of the tour for the previous album replacing Anton Fig, who would return for 1989's Trouble Walkin'.

Frehley's 1988 release, Second Sighting, turned out to be his poorest solo effort, due to pedestrian songwriting (most of the compositions were penned by second guitarist Tod Howarth or with the help of outside writers) and an unwelcome, glossy production - longtime Ace/Kiss producer Eddie Kramer was sorely missed

  • Frehley’s Comet second and final album is another collection of inoffensive Album Rock that features vocals from both Ace Frehley and collaborator Tom Howarth. “It’s Over Now” is a classic beautiful, trivial ballad, and although if the rest of the album is slightly more consistent than the project’s first album, it isn’t still enough to make it recommendable to non-Kiss fanatics.Highlights: “It’s Over Now”.
